Céline J. Dallaire
Originaire de Rouyn-Noranda, Céline J. Dallaire est bien connue dans sa région pour son travail artistique et son engagement dans l'enseignement des arts. Elle est diplômée de diverses institutions américaines des beaux-arts. Elle a reçu de nombreux prix tout au long de sa carrière et elle a présenté son travail en exposition solo et de groupe au Canada, et à l'étranger.
Poursuivant sa quête dans le domaine de la peinture de manière abstraite et figurative, elle explore avec la technologie de fine pointe par le biais de l’estampe, du numérique et de l’installation, elle vise à établir un dialogue entre les structures créées par l'homme et celles présentes dans la nature. Pour l'exposition d'art À la rencontre de 3 visions , l'artiste interroge la relation entre l'humain et son environnement.
Native of Rouyn-Noranda, Céline J. Dallaire is well known in her region for her artistic work and her commitment to art teaching. She is a graduate of various American Fine Art Institutions. She has received numerous awards throughout her career, and she has presented her work researching solo and group art exhibits in Canada, the United States and abroad.
Investigating the field of painting abstractly and figuratively, she explores with the finest technology in printmaking, the digital world and the installation field, while aiming to establish a dialogue between structures created by humans and those present in nature. For the art exhibit À la rencontre de 3 visions, the artist questions the relationship between humans and their environment.
Isabelle Roby
Native de la région de Drummondville, Isabelle Roby habite et travaille à Rouyn-Noranda. Ayant pratiqué la médecine pendant 15 ans, son intérêt pour la richesse et la complexité de l’expérience humaine se poursuit naturellement dans son travail artistique. Elle s’interroge sur les origines et le futur de l’humanité en combinant idées, matières et techniques. Diplômée en art-thérapie, en arts plastiques et en production artistique de l’UQAT et détentrice d’un finaliste pour le Prix Albert-Dumouchel de la relève en arts imprimés, les travaux d’Isabelle Roby ont été diffusés autant en région qu’à l’international.
Sa série d'estampes intitulée Mélusine s'inspire d'un mythe médiéval qui traite de la quête d'humanité, du mystère, de la confiance, de la partie monstrueuse que l'on désire cacher. L'artiste a mis ses encres, ses matrices et son aiguille au service de cette légende, afin de représenter l'hybridité de Mélusine femme et fée, humaine et animale, amante et mère.
Native of the Drummondville region, Isabelle Roby lives and works in Rouyn-Noranda. Having practiced medicine for 15 years, her interest in the richness and complexity of the human experience continues naturally in his artistic work. She questions the origins and future of humanity by combining ideas, materials and techniques. A graduate in art therapy, plastic arts and artistic production from UQAT and holder of a finalist for the Albert-Dumouchel Prize for emerging artists in printed arts, Isabelle Roby's work has been shown both in the region and internationally.
Her series of prints entitled Mélusine is inspired by a medieval myth that deals with the quest for humanity, mystery, confidence, the monstrous part that we want to hide. The artist has put his inks, dies and needle at the service of this legend, in order to represent the hybridity of Mélusine woman and fairy, human and animal, lover and mother
Martine Cournoyer
Martine Cournoyer, originaire de Sorel-Tracy (Québec), réside à Rouyn-Noranda depuis 30 ans. Docteure en psychologie, elle a enseigné cette discipline jusqu’à sa retraite. Elle a suivi des formations en peinture, en arts plastiques et en lithographie, et participé à des expositions collectives au Québec et en Ontario. Elle est co-autrice d’oeuvres littéraires destinées aux jeunes enfants non-voyants, et autrice d’un livre d’art sur l’adoption internationale, Dom Detey No2.
Inspirée par le courant expressionniste, sa démarche artistique est axée sur une interprétation sensible et intuitive de la réalité. Elle aspire à approcher l’essence de ce qui est devant ou à l’intérieur d’elle, et à poser ce ressenti sur le support. À l’occasion de l’exposition À la rencontre de trois visions, elle présente des oeuvres alliant ses passions pour l’art et la littérature.
Martine Cournoyer, originally from Sorel-Tracy (Quebec), has lived in Rouyn-Noranda for 30 years. Doctor of psychology, she taught this discipline until her retirement. She followed training in painting, plastic arts and lithography, and participated in group exhibitions in Quebec and Ontario. She is the co-author of literary works for blind young children, and the author of an art book on intercountry adoption, Dom Detey No2.
Inspired by the expressionist movement, her artistic approach is based on a sensitive and intuitive interpretation of reality. She aspires to approach the essence of what is in front of or inside her, and to place that feeling on the medium. On the occasion of the exhibition À la rencontre de trois visions, she presents works that combine her passions for art and literature.
